Harlow Sculpture Tours
Harlow is known as 'sculpture town' because of its large collection of sculpture, most of it belonging to the twentieth century. Many of the pieces in its collection are scattered among its housing estates, community shopping centres. The guided tours will cover those pieces of sculpture which are to be seen in the middle of Harlow. They include works by Elizabeth Frink, Lynn Chadwick, Henry Moore, Ralph Brown and Rodin. Well-informed members of the Friends of Harlow Sculpture will conduct the tours, which will each last a little over one hour.
Meet these free tours outside the Civic Centre on Saturday 10 September at 2pm 3pm or 4pm. Now need to book just turn up 5 minutes before the tour begins.
