The talk  will consider the development of Garden Cities, as envisaged by Ebenezer Howard. Leading onto our beloved Harlow and Sir Frederick Gibberd, and finally a look at what the future might be for the garden cities and new towns.
 
Elain Harwood is Senior Architectural Investigator at Historic England and is a Trustee of the Twentieth
Century Society.
