Young People

Our future in the cultural world depends upon the commitment and enthusiasm of our next generation. We can offer the chance for school children / students / graduates to join the team on a voluntary basis for a short period of time or on a regular basis throughout busy times of the year.

There are many opportunities available from helping with research and marketing to installing shows and supporting events.

In September 2013 we launched the Young Curators programme funded by Royal Opera House Bridge and Arts Council England. There are currently 2 spaces left for young people aged 13-19 and the programme goals include creating a students exhibition by learning to organise, plan and market in structured way with a team of like minded people.

The programme will include gallery visits, talks from curators and marketing experts and offers a brilliant way to have an insight into gallery management and the arts as a potential career progression.

All of our Young Curators passed the Silver Arts Awards this year and successfully created a fantastic schools show. Take a look at what this years Young Curators got up by clicking here for a film link.
